Indigo's attraction to electronics could be described as sexual if it weren't for his age. His greatest passion is the mobile phone- and text messaging is his native tongue. Indigo's fingers and brain work wonders on computers and other wired devices as well. This is probably why Wammy had so much interest in him in the first place.

Indigo is also not a well child. If the thermostat breaks in the orphanage and temperatures rivaling those nearest the sun seep into the house the kid believes it to be "only a little bit warm," and a placid seventy degrees to him feels like the second Ice Age. He is physically sensitive to anything you can imagine- light, touch, sounds - and there's no fixing his weedy immune system.
H[i]story.

Indigo is a new edition to the Wammy House, only just being admitted a year ago. The move to England was the hardest one of his life; before it Iestyn and his mother flitted from house to house in Scotland, never living under their own roof but always working under other's. Iestyn's mother had been lucky enough to obtain a full-time job as a maid but she couldn't possibly bear leaving her sickly little son with someone else so the boy always helped her around the houses she kept tidy. His mother would work herself to exhaustion yet Iestyn hardly understood this state of being as a child. To preoccupy her boy from ever noticing this she hired a tutor that would arrive at the house she was tending and he would teach Iestyn- and the boy had an insatiable appetite for knowledge, one so extreme that eventually he became an object of interest at the Wammy House.

Iestyn's almost perennial sicknesses had been unfortunately hereditary, as his mother frequently lost her house jobs due to her own ills. Her fragility was also the cause of her death and when she died Iestyn was taken to England a few months after to live in the orphanage. Losing the only person who really tendered him and felt the ails he did had turned Iestyn into an insensitive little child.
Personal[i]ty.

Indigo's pouty little mouth is not adorable. The plumpest, kindliest, middle-aged woman would shriek in terror to hear most of the things that come out of it; not only does he string curse words together like some ancient language but top those words with a thick Scottish accent and slap them between the lips of a ten year old.. and you've something darn sinful. He's not afraid to use them, either. Indigo's temper is easily provoked, and the greatest expletives can become pet names for his acquaintances as fast as you can say, "fuck you." The child's intelligence rivals in dominance with his churlish attitude; Indigo is as much as a bastard as he is a genius. He knows he is smart- lord, does he know he is- and whenever he beats someone at a challenge there's always a snarky remark and an evil grin from him in place of their consolation prize.

With intelligence also comes some sort of maturity in some situations, though. Even if he adores provoking people around his age he gives much respect to those that are older. This especially pertains to his predecessor, L, but to some extent anyone even a few years older that Indigo is treated with timidity and admiration. This is definitely a big contrast to the catty, snide little bitch that he usually becomes.
